Anthony Bechara

Hello, my name is Anthony Bechara and I love learning about computer hardware! I spend my time learning about new graphics cards, CPUs, memory, and SSDs. I want to work in IT, but I am open to learning about new career options!

I work with DSFA at the Delridge Community Center. I am a proud student learning more about coding in HTML. A project I have completed is an educational game in Scratch about pollution. My team and I went to a hackathon at Facebook headquarters in California and improved our game.

I enjoy playing videogames, learning about coding, and once when my computer broke, I loved doing the research to fix my computer (which I did, a RAM stick broke!) And despite my parents warnings about spending too much time in front of a computer screen, it will pay off, after all!

I started working for the Digital Skills for All and Rectech in Delridge, we focused on web and game design/development. I have learned to work as a team and in solo projects. The games we created made it to Facebook Engineer for the Week Achievement Summit. The event was a hackathon that brought dedicated students from across the country to Facebook headquarters to work with and ask any questions to Facebook's brightest employees!
