Jesse Rivas

Hi, my name is Jesse Rivas. I am from Yakima, WA and I’ve lived in Seattle, WA for 6 years. I received my High School Equivalency Certificate at Youthcare Interagency Academy in Seattle and will be starting at SCCC this fall. I'm an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation Tribe.

I am an Artist with an interest in drawing and painting, and I also enjoy playing guitar. My professional interests are web and game development.

I enjoy game development because of the process of creating and finishing my product. I would be interested in designing special effects for video games. I’m also interested in starting off with small animation and building the game’s world.

I am learning more coding skills and web development to be able to assist people with their websites.

I would like to learn the technical aspects of digital edit videos for websites.
